Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable Ruby code. You will also be responsible for integrating data storage solutions, connecting user-facing elements with server-side logic, and optimizing application performance. Your expertise in Ruby on Rails, problem-solving skills, and experience will be crucial in our software development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code to create and enhance web applications.
Integrate data storage solutions, which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, and other technologies, to support application functionality.
Collaborate with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly application.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs within the application and advice effective solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
Maintain code quality, follow best practices, and organize codebase for readability and maintainability.
Implement automation wherever possible to streamline development and deployment processes.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3 years of relevant experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and web development technologies.
Knowledge of databases and data storage solutions.
Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks.
Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
