About the Role

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Azure expertise to join our team and support our US-based clients. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of client environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

  • Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and automation solutions

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and maintain optimal system performance and uptime

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security, ensuring environments are secure, reliable, and scalable

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the tech stack including Linux, networking, load balancing, and Azure services

  • Optimize cloud costs through efficient resource utilization and architecture design

CI/CD & Automation

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools

  • Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep

  • Automate deployment of applications, system configurations, and security settings

  • Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)

  • Implement configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or similar tools

Collaboration & Operations

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure environments meet requirements and follow best practices

  • Lead urgent issues and projects, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders

  • Provide direct server support during deployments and production operations

  • Develop and implement environments for development, QA, staging, and production

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for proactive issue detection

Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • 4-8 years of hands-on DevOps experience in professional environments

  • Strong experience administering Azure cloud environments (primary focus)

  • Working knowledge of AWS is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Azure Services: Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, Storage, Networking, Monitor

  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep

  • CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes/AKS

  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python (intermediate level)

  • Linux Administration: Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL

  • Version Control: Git, Azure Repos

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Process-oriented with strong documentation habits
