Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Freelance Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the high quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, be skilled in various testing methodologies, and have the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and issues.
Perform manual and automated testing of applications.
Work closely with the development team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze test results, track software defects, and report on them.
Develop and maintain QA process documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent project execution.
Stay updated on new testing tools and test strategies.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Experience with automated testing tools.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills.
