Position Overview

The Software Architect will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for our clients’ projects, from conception through to deployment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise will guide the development of high-quality software that is both scalable and sustainable, ensuring the technology stack remains at the cutting edge.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate software and technology architectures.
Lead architectural discussions and decisions for software development and system integration.
Analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will offer security and will be effectively integrated with current applications.
Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to software development teams.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and system flexibility.
Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
Review new and existing system designs and make recommendations for improving or altering the systems.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in Software Development
Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of architecture styles and design patterns.
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
Documented experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud architecture patterns.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or equivalent.
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on negotiation, presentation, and consensus building.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
